Chair Placement Test Schedule
Tests will be done in music class with Mr. Nurse. If you are in Mr. Gray's class, you can come in to see me at any lunch hour.
Final Day for Tests = Wednesday, September 25th
Recommendations for Coda Band will be made AFTER the chair placement tests.
Expectations:
- Play the chromatic scale. Go to your highest comfortable note.
- Play ONE of the pieces on the page: WIBC Minor Etude OR Danny Boy.

Band Boot Camp
If you are just starting your instrument or you would like some time to re-familiarize yourself with your instrument, we are offering "Band Boot Camp" for the first 3 weeks. You will be working with an experienced student and learn your instrument 1-on-1.
WHEN = any lunch time with your assigned Assistant
Graduation Requirements:
1. Four articulations on concert B-flat (legato, tenuto, accent staccato)
2. Concert B-flat and E-flat major scales; one octave
3. Chromatic scale; one octave
4. #119 Serenade from the "Best in Class" book (black)
After you graduate, you will be rejoining the band for Monday & Wednesday rehearsals :)
